Ideas/Suggestions: Sub-networks?

So I was thinking about how the real internet works. It's made up of various LANs, WANs, etc. So for this I was thinking of having a special "router" host with a special kernel for its function. It will store a table of network hosts, and will regulate traffic between each other and the wider Internet. How about it?

I had plans at one point to implement a router type host, which would enable more realistic networking.

I may look into implementing this in a future release, as at the moment it would not be possible to create private networks such as those in the 192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x, and 172.16.x.x to 172.31.x.x without routing in place.

There is no need for a special host type for routing. As a matter of fact, this is a great example of what the game's flexibility allows! What we do need though is to setup a network hierarchy of some sort where only some computers can send packets to each other (Unlike right now where anyone can send packets to anyone else).

For the suggestion itself (Add support for better networking), I definitely approve.
(Because if you do this I can hack into the backbone routers and become the NSA.)
