I am thinking of using Twisted in Hacker's Edge to enable console access to various virtual hosts.
This feature, made for advanced users will enable them to telnet into Hacker's Edge and play around with the virtual network over a standard CLI interface. This could be used for advanced missions, or to better play with the open world environment. Say, if you really wanted those 1 billion credits, it might be easier to hack away on a console. Since a console is more real-time, than web requests, this can enable some interesting game play mechanics. Most web browsers also support telnet:// so creating links to open a telnet session should be a piece of cake.
Any thoughts or ideas on how Hacker's Edge could use Twisted?
